Shirley M. Ayers

Shirley M. Ayers, 87, of Martinsburg, passed away Tuesday evening, May 10, 2022, at The Village at Morrison’s Cove, Martinsburg.

She was born Feb. 3, 1935, in Henrietta, a daughter of the late Frederick and Dorothy (Detwiler) Metzker.

On Feb. 3, 1954 at Diehl’s Crossroads Brethren Church, she married Ronald K. Ayers with whom she shared 67 years of marriage before his death Dec. 16, 2021.
