Ask the Williamsburgers

Leave it to your Williamsburg reporter to get teary-eyed at graduation when they started to play “Pomp and Circumstance.” Going back to the high school every year makes me so sentimental, because I remember sitting on those chairs, thinking to myself, “Wow, this is it.”

That inspired my question this week – what advice would you give this year’s graduating seniors? Here is what a few had to say:

Danny Shultz, Jr.: Follow your dreams.

Diana Barroner: Save your money, get an education, love your parents and don’t forget where you came from.

Teresa Limbert: Keep your head on straight and use common sense and you will succeed in everything you do.

Jeff White: No matter where you are or where you go always trust the small town values you were taught growing up in Williamsburg.

Cori Jessica: Go out and go experience the world.

Bonnie Edwards: Remember your parents will be your best friends all your life. A great parent is there for the good and the bad. Make good choices!

Victoria Frye: Never, never be afraid to challenge yourself – try something new if you are feeling it.

Wendy Martin: Enjoy every minute, life goes by so fast.

Jackson Brumbaugh: Save something from each and every paycheck.

Bonnie Hammond: Put God first and you will never be alone.

Goldie Bingham: Stay humble and always put God first. Reach for the stars take time to enjoy every moment. When you fall down, get back up no matter how many times. Remember how much your parents love you and always take time to say hello even if it’s a phone call. Never settle. Challenge yourself continuously.

Bonnie Good: You got this.

Corena Stiffler: Don’t give up on your dreams.
