SC Power Reunion Holds Annual Banquet

On Saturday, May 21, about 240 members of Southern Cove Power Reunion and their families attended the annual awards banquet on the Power Reunion grounds. It was a beautiful sunny day with the temperature reaching 90 degrees, but nobody seemed to care as it was a beautiful setting.
As the group was arriving, club members were setting up last-minute touches. Fred Mellott, Whitley Furry and David Perrin were husking corn to be cooked with Mellott's steam engine for the dinner.
Melanie Clapper, secretary of the club, was receiving donated raffle baskets and selling tickets. There were 11 basket...
