Kenneth "Ken" Scott Barefoot Jr.

Kenneth “Ken” Scott Barefoot, Jr., 64, of East Freedom, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at home.

He was born December 11, 1957, in Roaring Spring the son of the late Kenneth Scott Barefoot, Sr. and Jennie (Garyga) Barefoot.

He is survived by three sisters: Diane Burak and husband Peter of Wisconsin, Sandra Bump and husband Carl of Florida, and Mary Lou Bowers of Roaring Spring.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Peter Paul Barefoot and an infant sister, Georgia.

Kenneth was a graduate of Central High School and Clarion University. He was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at The Village at Morrisons Cove.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Jaffa Shrine, the Portage Lodge, and the East Freedom Volunteer Fire Department.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing and services will be private at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will be made in Greenlawn Cemetery.
