Man Killed on Motorcycle

Dean Gunnett, 49, of Williamsburg died as a result of a motorcycle accident on William Penn Highway near Yellow Springs. The motorcycle collided with the side of a coal truck and Gunnett was thrown to the ground and killed instantly.

M.E. Replogle, general manager of the Replogle Motor Company, was flying to New York City to attend a business meeting of Ford, Lincoln and Mercury dealers at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. Ford Motor Company president Henry Ford II was speaking at the meeting.
