C-burg Library to Offer 'Oceans of Possibilities'

The Claysburg Area Public Library is gearing up for a very busy summer. This year’s Summer Quest Program theme is “Oceans of Possibilities.” All of the programs will be held at 11 a.m.

Summer Quest will include six different programs that are related to the oceans, starting June 9 with Turtle and Dolphins.

June 16 will be entitled “Sharks.”

“Mermaids and Seashells” will be held on June 23. Participants will be learning about mythical creatures of the sea.

Would you like to know what it was like to be a pirate on the sea? On June 30, come learn about the life of a pirate. “Ship ahoy!”

Attendees will be learning about famous ships on July 7.

The last program will explore coral reefs and the creatures that inhabit them.

Children of all ages are encouraged to sign up and participate.

Come to the library on June 13 at 6 p.m. and escape from the Bermuda Triangle. Puzzle solvers of all ages are invited to follow the clues and see the airplane safely to its destination.

John Bandzuh from the Blair County Conservation Department will present a program on seedball making and pollinators. Join on July 5 at 6 p.m. for this agricultural experience.
