Claysburg Volunteer Fire Company Holds Engine 70 'Push In' Ceremony

In December of 2020, the Claysburg Volunteer Fire Company had their main engine fail beyond repairs. No fire company can be without their main engine with disasters always a concern in the community. Immediately a fundraising effort was started, but with a 12-15 month production lead time, local fire members were concerned on how to fill the void. Fortunately the Alum Bank Fire Company came through with a loaner truck for the Claysburg Volunteer Fire Company #70. That loaner has been used for the past 15 months.
