Giuseppe and Rosa Amato opened the Original Italian Pizza restaurant in Woodbury. It was believed to be the first Italian restaurant operated in Woodbury.

Todd Dishong, principal at Williamsburg High School, submitted his resignation.

Claysburg-Kimmel School District named Mrs. Laurie Criswell as the new elementary school principal. She was replacing Mark Loucks who took a position as superintendent at Forbes Road.
