Farm Show Members Meet with Catharine Supervisors

Farm Show Board President Jeff Walason attended last Thursday evening’s Catharine Township meeting.

Walason, along with Treasurer Arianne Waddington, discussed the proposed Farm Show lease with supervisors. The lease presented would be for eight years, then 33, and then another 33 to keep in line with other lease.

Walason said the board had some concerns about the proposed lease – one being how much involvement the supervisors had in the lease. For example, any work done on the Farm Show grounds would have to be approved by the supervisors in written form. A lot of the issues stemmed...
