Central Scarlet Dragons PIAA Class 3A State Champions

After only five innings against the Lancaster Catholic Crusaders in the state championship, the Dragons left triumphant with a mercy-rule, 13-2 victory.

With a state title on the line, the Dragons started out against the Crusaders with an offensive push. Paxton Kling was walked, but quickly advanced to third after a single by Jeff Hoenstine. Devon Boyles and Hunter Smith were both hit by pitches to score Kling, giving the Dragons an early 1-0 lead. Boyles headed the defensive front, pitching for the Dragons, completing four innings of pitching while only giving up two runs.
