An unoccupied house along East Main Street in Roaring Spring has created a rodent problem for neighbors who say their property values are going down. Two of those neighbors attended this month's borough council meeting to ask for help in getting the property cleaned up.
Denny and Ruby Albright live next door to 706 E. Main St. and said their well-kept property has been invaded by rats who have made a home in the overgrown weeds and grass from the neighboring house. To illustrate their point, the Albrights brought pictures of the property to show council members what they are living next to....
