Woodbury Pike Crash Claims Man

One person is dead after a head-on collision on Woodbury Pike near the intersection of Cabbage Creek Rd., Taylor Township.

According to Hollidaysburg State Police, on Monday, July 25, at approximately 3:40 p.m., a 2014 Subaru Legacy was traveling south on Woodbury Pike when it veered into the northbound lane and into the path of a 2019 Ford Transit.

The driver of the Subaru was taken to Conemaugh Nason Medical Center in Roaring Spring but died of his injuries. Police said the driver of the Ford, a 63-year-old male, sustained minor injuries.

Police have not released the names of either driver pending notification of the next of kin of the deceased. Police said both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
