Gerta Daneen (Waite) Mingle-Strohmeyer

Gerta W. Strohmeyer, 82, of Williamsburg, passed away Saturday evening, July 23, 2022, at UPMC Altoona surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Jan. 21, 1940, in Williamsburg, daughter of the late H. Dewayne “Bud” and Esther L. (Fry) Waite. She was twice married, first to Richard A. Mingle Sr. and then to Charles V. “Chuck” Strohmeyer, both preceded her in death.

She is survived by three sons: Marion “Bud” (Tina) Mingle, Richard Allen Mingle Jr. (Jamie Smith) and Michael W. (Becky) Mingle; a daughter, Marlene R. Mingle Lynch (Rob); two step-sons: Timothy A. (Tricia) Strohm...
