Freedom Township police helped stop a multi-store “cash cash scam” designed to gain fraudulent refunds from Walmart.

Court documents show that on the afternoon of July 23, Freedom Township police were called to the east Freedom Walmart to investigate an attempted theft when a man, later identified as Mahi Constantine, 28, of Elmhurst, New York, approached the customer service desk and demanded a refund for a transaction that did not properly go through.
