During the recent heat wave, I finally sat down and read a wonderful book that I had bought at the Pennsylvania Game Commission's website. The book, Bob Sopchick's "Penn's Woods Passages," is one that many Pennsylvania hunters will enjoy.

At first the book appears to be a coffee-table book (8 1/2 x 10 inches), and it is indeed an attractive softbound book. However, inside is a 293-page collection of many articles Sopchick had published in the "Pennsylvania Game News" over the years.
