Elder Dies at Home

The Rev, James D. Brumbaugh, an elder in the Church of the Brethren for many years, died at his home in West Martinsburg at the age of 72. Death came suddenly and was believed to due to a fall that he sustained the afternoon before while he was engaged in picking plums. He had fallen a distance of eight feet, but following the accident was able to walk about.
