Non-Profit Provides Children's Items in Williamsburg

Run by Amanda Biddle, with the help of Micah and Azriela Clouse, Naomi’s Nursery Blessings is a non-profit children’s pantry in Williamsburg.

Naomi’s Nursery Blessings provides free children’s items to anyone and everyone with no questions asked. Naomi was Biddle’s daughter who was born sleeping at 33 weeks gestation.

“The pantry is something we do in her memory by helping others in need. It’s been our way of finding good in what was the worst time of our lives. We just want to bless as many babies, children and families as possible in her memory,” Biddle said. “We provide infant and children’s items for free to those in need. Items vary from diapers, wipes, formula, clothing, cribs, seats and more. People can contact us to set up an appointment time to come get items.”

The goal of the pantry, according to Biddle, is “to help and support as many families as possible in their times of need.”

Naomi’s Nursery Blessings began in March of 2021 and continues to grow. The non-profit is holding a spaghetti dinner benefit on Saturday, Sept. 10, from 5 to 8 p.m. Tickets are available at Mill Hill Farm Supply in Williamsburg or by calling Amanda Biddle directly at (814) 381-6106. Dine-in and take-out are both available. Dinner will be at the Salem Church, Martinsburg.

Funds raised from this dinner will go toward purchasing items for the pantry.
