RS Council Looks into Storm Water Complaint

Storm water runoff in Roaring Spring may be causing flooding issues for some residents along New Street, according to resident Gary Thompson.

Thompson came before borough council earlier this month to alert them to the issue and ask that it be investigated.

“I’d like someone to look into the storm water situation,” Thompson said. “Everything on the west side of route 36 drains down into our area.”

Thompson said he noticed that some of the storm water drains are starting to sink down which may be contributing to the storm water backing up.
