A satellite location for the Blair county Family Resource center opened in Morrisons Cove Memorial Park. The goal of the center was to create healthy families and a strong community.

Robert Chonko’s local history class at Central High School applied a new roof to the old Dick Schoolhouse. It was the final task in a cleanup of the property that had started earlier in the summer.
