Dot Summers, 64, of Claysburg, passed away Wednesday Aug. 31, 2022, at UPMC-Altoona.

She was born April 25, 1958, in Lehighton, daughter of Richard and Ann (Rogers) Pennell. She married Jeff Summer Feb. 16, 1980, in Jim Thorpe.

She is survived by her mother, husband, children: Rebecca Clapper (Ryan) of Bedford and Matt Summers of Claysburg; grandchildren: McKenzie and Dakota Clapper, Malia Wond, and Alivia Summer, sisters Terri Heigl (Tom) and Barb Murphy (Pat).

She was preceded in death by her father.
