Dragon Golf Narrowly Takes Second

September 8, 2022

The Central Golf team traveled to Somerset to face the Eagles and the Central Cambria Red Devils in a match last Wednesday. The Dragons finished second of three teams and had the individual best score of the entire match.

Nick Baum had the best score for the Dragons, hitting 39 over the 18 holes and with the best individual score of all three teams as well. Griffin Snowberger hit just below with a finishing score of 40, and Zach Oakes hit just lower with an ending score of 41. Luke Bettwy had the next best score on the team with a 46, followed by Nick Wiedemer with a score of 52. These scores allowed the Dragons to end with a total score of 218, just below the Red Devils’ score of 217, and absolutely crushing the Eagles’ score of 231.

The Central Golf Team now will head to Iron Masters Country Club to play in two matches next week.
