Dragon Soccer Falls to Panthers

The Central Dragon Soccer team faced the Northern Bedford Panthers in a home match last Wednesday. The Dragons were unable to attain a goal throughout the game, ending with a 5-0 loss to the Panthers.

Colin Yeatts scored two goals for the Panthers to start the game, while Evan Coffey added two goals himself to end the first half with the Dragons trailing 4-0. Drew Childers added another goal for the Panthers in the second half to lead to a final score of 5-0. Yeatts had three assists throughout the game, while Childers had one. In the losing effort, Goalie Ben Brumbaugh made 11 saves for the Dragons. A victory for the Panthers leaves them with a record of 2-0.

Now with a record of 0-1, the Dragons will go on to play the Central Cambria Red Devils at home, and then travel to face the Forest Hills Rangers in the coming week.
