Putting cows on the front page since 1885.
Following last week’s tour of Williamsburg, I got to reminisce about the town that Williamsburg was. I was privileged to grow up here and got to know some of the places that the past generations knew and loved.
This inspired my question for the week – what old-school place in Williamsburg was your favorite?
Here is what a few residents had to say:
Bethany Stokes: Rhodes
Shaena Brantner: The Blue Pirate Restaurant
Tyrel Merritts: The OIP – buffalo chicken subs!
Blair Saylor: Pool Hall
Shelby Maynard: Pizza shop when Jake (Belardi) was working
Dotty Herd: Annie’s
Robert Knepp: Shickles
Nancy Strayer: Hoy’s 5 &10, Lightner’s, Big D, Metz Hardware especially upstairs at Christmas time!
Jordan Swartz: I liked the Eagles as a young kid – just good people and good times.
Kishia Hoover: 3D’s
Marianne Nicholas: Grove’s Grocery Store
Leeann Aurandt: Hornburgers – they had the best cold pizza!
