Stanley R. Over, 76, of The Villages, Fla., formerly of Martinsburg, went home to be with his Lord, Tuesday morning September 6, 2022, at his daughter’s home in Carlisle, due to complications from cancer.

He was born March 31, 1946, in Roaring Spring, son of the late Jerre R. and Marjorie E. (Baker) Over. On Sept. 18, 1965, he married Shirley Ickes at the Martinsburg Church of the Brethren.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley of 56 years; a daughter, Lisa Moore (Bruce) of Carlisle; a son, Jeremy Over (LouAnn) of Martinsburg; six grandchildren: Megan, Julia and Ross Moore, Brandon...
