The Claysburg-Kimmel School Board met on Wednesday Sept. 7, and again on Wednesday, Sept. 14 and continued to award contracts for the athletic project.

During its Sept. 7 meeting, the board awarded the electrical contract to Mashan Inc. in the amount of $51,900. Two bids were received and Mashan was chosen after reference checks were done.

The board also approved the $1.188 million contract with L.S. Fiore, pending solicitor review, to complete the football stadium. Fiore was awarded the contract during the board’s August meeting and this month’s action formally approved it. The board a...
