Having adequate transportation to get all students to school effectively has been an issue of concern for the Spring Cove School District since the start of the 2022-23 school year.

During the recognition of visitors portion of the board of directors regular monthly meeting, Charles Maxwell of Maxwell Transportation, which provides student transportation for the district, stated, “We only have 10 drivers for 14 routes and other staff is filling in for the remainder of the runs. We are only two sick people away from not being able to complete routes.”
