PA Game Commission Votes to Purchase Plum Creek Mtn.

Roaring Spring Borough is a step closer to closing the books on its ownership of Plum Creek Mountain after the Pennsylvania Game Commission voted to purchase the 1,367-acre tract of land from the borough for $1.2 million.

Earlier this year, the borough entered a land lease option agreement with the game commission and the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, allowing for a six-month timeline for the organizations to decide on purchasing the land.
