B. Joanne Hicks, 85, of Roaring Spring, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday morning Sept. 22, 2022, at UPMC Altoona after a brief illness.

She was born Aug. 10, 1937, in Roaring Spring the daughter of the late Mearl C. and Hazel M. (Kennedy) Dodson.

She married James A. Hicks Aug. 9, 1955, in Winchester, VA and he passed away May 30, 2017.

She is survived by two children: Jeff A. Hicks and wife Sharon of Martinsburg and Suzanne L. Feather and husband Ryan of Martinsburg; seven grandchildren: Melanie Hicks, Lisa Butler, Lexi Hicks, Lindsay George, Deia Frye, James Feather, and Barbara Joa...
