Lady Dragons Defeated by Marauders

On Monday, Sept. 26, Junior Kaitlyn Weitzel, setter, hit a milestone of 500 assists during a match against Johnstown. Weitzel has played since 7th grade. She also plays travel volleyball for Ridgetop 18U team.
\As the Lady Dragons continued through their season, they came to a roadblock last week when traveling to face the Bishop Guilfoyle Lady Marauders. The Dragons faced defeat in just three sets, losing in the first 25-13. Nearly making a comeback, however, in the second and third sets, but still losing both, 25-17 and 25-18 respectively, the Dragons ended with a 3-0 loss.
Alex Klotz had 21 good serve receptions and 16 good digs throughout the match for the Dragons. Maya Hazenstab had 14 good serve receptions herself, while Kaitlyn Weitzel had 10 good digs. The JV team had also taken a loss to...
