The Cove High expects to start basketball this season, which will complete its line of sports, soccer, track, baseball and football. The baseball team took third place in the Blair County High League. The track team took second in the county meet. Soccer lacks opponents but is played in the winter between teams of the school. While the girls do not have any organized teams, they do have an Athletic Association and are working to win their letters by acquiring a hundred points which may be earned in various feats.
