Earlier this year, the Roaring Spring Borough Council heard from neighbors of two borough properties concerning the condition of the unoccupied structures. According to the neighbors, the properties in question, one along East Main Street and the other on Rockingham Avenue, were falling into disrepair and creating a health and safety hazard.

Under the borough’s Dangerous Structure Ordinance, council sent an engineer to inspect the properties to determine if they were a public safety hazard.
