Don Snively of the Martinsburg Boosters Association paints the frame of one of the "Welcome to Martinsburg" signs placed at each entrance to the borough by the Boosters Association. Local artist Michael Woodling painted the sign.

The Boosters Association erected these signs as noted in the recent August 4 edition of the Herald's "25 Years Ago" column.
