Out with the Old, In With the New – Construction workers removed the old sign and put up a new sign for PennCrest Bank on Friday, Oct. 14. The new bank opened Monday.
PennCrest Bank, a Pennsylvania-chartered mutual savings bank headquartered in Altoona, Pa., announced Oct. 14 that it has completed its purchase of Mid Penn Bank's Williamsburg Financial Center.
PennCrest has agreed to assume certain deposit liabilities totaling approximately $21.1 million and purchase certain loans totaling approximately $2.0 million as well as cash, real property, personal property and other fixed assets associated with the Williamsburg Financial Center.
