Daryl Lester Umbower, 85, of Syracuse, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Oct. 15, 2022.

He was born June 6, 1937, in Roaring Springs, son of the late John Umbower and Madeline (Golden) Umbower Albright. He married Marie Sackett on June 11, 1960.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Umbower and four children: DeeAnn (Ben) Shephard of Troy, Virginia, Denae (KC Wiese) Umbower of Houston, Texas, Dan (Anna) Umbower of Goshen, and Dori (Barry) Hochstedler of Noblesville; seven grandchildren: Kelsey (Kyle) Stuart, Karston (Katie) Shephard, Kamden Shephard, Hawkins, Hudson and Harrison Hochs...
