Mummers Parade Wins Applause

From a tiny fairy queen to a towering ghost, the second annual Mummers Parade sponsored by the Martinsburg Booster Association won applause, cheers and laughs along the entire parade route. More than 200 marchers filed in hobgoblin disorder behind the leading band unit, under a sky blackened by broom-riding witches. First prizes were $3 cash, second prizes $2 cash, and third, $1.
