Alice Marie (Swartz) Wachter, 85, of New Enterprise, passed away on Oct. 24, 2022, at the Village at Morrisons Cove.

She was born Nov. 28, 1936, in Bloomfield Township; daughter of the late Chester E. and Mary (Ulery) Swartz. On Aug. 30, 1956, in New Enterprise, she was united in marriage to Joseph F. Wachter, IV; he preceded her in death July 17, 2022.

Alice worked many years as bookkeeper and office manager for Kilcoin Concrete Products in Bedford. She was a member of the Koontz Church of the Brethren and loved reading, cooking, and baking.
