Helen Mae Sands, 91, rural Roaring Spring, was called home to be with the Lord, Tuesday evening, Oct. 25, 2022, at Homewood at Martinsburg.

She was born Nov. 23, 1930, in Paradise, Lancaster County, daughter of the late John H. and Mary (Eby) Ranck. On April 7, 1950, she married Paul M. Sands in Paradise, who preceded her in death April 25, 2021, following 71 years of marriage.
