Noise Ordinance Passed by Woodbury

Following several complaints of residents of Woodbury Township, supervisors passed a noise ordinance during last Thursday evening’s meeting.

“It’s not really strict,” Chairman Joe Lansberry said “A lot of it is respect for the neighborhood.”

Larry Mock attended to confront supervisors about ordinance.

“I think you’re opening a can of worms,” Mock said.

A lot of the complaints from residents stemmed from animal safety with horses and dogs. Holidays such as the Fourth of July are exempt from the noise ordinance, and it only covers noises from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
