Martinsburg Borough Council welcomed Claysburg-Kimmel Junior Trevor Finnegan at the Nov. 7 meeting. Finnegan was shadowing the Herald’s editor to learn more about journalism.

Chief of Police Kerry Hoover was notified that the department’s new cruiser was going from the dealership for upfitting.

“We’re lucky we’re still getting a 2022,” Hoover said after noting the cruiser was ordered in June.
