Blair Concert Chorale Performance Approaches

The Blair Concert Chorale will perform the second concert of the 2022-2023 season on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022, at 7:30 p.m. at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 14th Street and 12th Avenue, Altoona. “The Power…a concert of Lessons & Carols” encompasses many genres of seasonal music. Highlighting the concert is a version of the nine Lessons & Carols traditionally performed by King’s College Choir, Cambridge, each Christmas Eve and broadcast on the BBC. In Lessons and Carols, a reading precedes each of the sung responses, telling the story of the birth of Jesus.
