Claysburg Woman Facing Cruelty to Animal Charges for Neglected Horses

Bedford State Police have charged a Claysburg woman with multiple counts of cruelty to animals after police said four horses in her care suffered neglect.

Katlyn P. Weyant, 20, is facing felony counts of aggravated cruelty to animals and torture, along with misdemeanor counts of neglect of animals, and cruelty to animals after police were called to a Kimmel Township home in early October to investigate a report of neglected horses.
