Are you Good at Waiting?

John the Baptist or John, the Baptizer, is a colorful character in our scripture. He’s a rough but utterly sincere character with everything he owns on his back. He’s as wild as the wilderness that he has chosen for his pulpit, preaching to everyone who will listen. We definitely hear in his answers that he knows he is not the key. He knows the real one is coming after him, but John the Baptist is not merely a warm-up act for Jesus.
