AAA Recognizes Greenfield Township Police Chief for Traffic Safety Efforts

Greenfield Township Police Chief Ron Sharkey was awarded the Community Traffic Safety Award from AAA for his department's efforts in promoting safe driving.
AAA East Central honored local police departments for their efforts to promote safe driving on Pennsylvania's roadways.
According to Terri Rae Anthony, safety advisor at AAA East Central, the award recognizes police departments that implement AAA's safety programs.
"We at AAA care about the motoring public and do as many presentations and education programs as we can," she said. "But we can't do it alone so we partner with police departments to help get our message across."
