South Woodbury Twp. Hears from EMS on Subscription Requests

South Woodbury Township Board of Supervisors met on Dec. 6, 2022. The time of meeting was changed due to deer season.

The office will be closed on Dec. 26 and 28, 2022, and open on Dec. 30. Auditors will meet on Jan. 4, 2023, at 6:30 p.m.

The treasurer report given including monthly bills. Total liabilities and equity is $2,542,769. The South Woodbury Township Wastewater Treatment Facility has a balance of $72,745.

There was an update on the Mid-State Trail pedestrian bridge replacement. The engineers are working to determine the best way to do this. The Pine Hill Road project is also in design by engineers.

Southern Cove EMS annual subscription request was given. It is very important to the community and to the ambulance service that folks pay their subscriptions. If you need the ambulance, your insurance will pay some and the remaining amount due will not need to be paid if you belong.

The next meeting is planned for Jan. 3 at 9 a.m. Meeting dates for the year will be determined at this time.

In the October article, it was reported Guyer Brothers won the bid for the Golden Rule Drive culvert replacement project. The amount of that bid was $418,091.50.
