Electric Outage Still Planned for Dec. 28

A 10-hour power outage is still planned for the Martinsburg and Williamsburg areas on Wednesday, Dec. 28.

Residents have expressed concern that there will be a separate power outage in Martinsburg on Friday, Dec. 23. Some have reported receiving phone calls from Penelec. Martinsburg Borough Manager Rich Brantner Jr. said he has heard some pepple have received these calls, but he has not heard from Penelec about a Dec. 23 outage.

Brantner confirms that the outage planned for Wednesday, Dec. 28, is still planned. It is set begin at 7 a.m. and continue until 5 p.m.
