Nellie R. Lang

Nellie R. Lang, 100, of rural Williamsburg, passed away Thursday morning, Dec.15, 2022, at her home.

She was born Feb. 9, 1922, in Altoona, daughter of the late George W. and Margaret (Smay) MacDonald. On Septe. 14, 1946, she married Franklin W. Lang in Altoona. He preceded her in death June 21, 2000, after 53 years of marriage.

She is survived by two sons: William D. Lang (Joann) of Moncks Corner, SC and Eugene R. Lang of Williamsburg; two daughters: Barbara A. Carper (Dennis) of Williamsburg and Lois J. Lang-Appleman (Jeff) of State College; eight grandchildren: Kelly Clouser (Chris), Lou...
