Facing two skilled opponents, the Dragons had their hands full throughout the week against the Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders and the Bishop Carroll Huskies. Against both the Bishop teams, the Dragons held to a close game in the first half, followed by an explosive offensive push in the third quarter for 61-38 and 70-42 victories respectively.
