The Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry (L&I) released its preliminary employment situation report for November 2022.

Pennsylvania’s unemployment rate was 4.0 percent in November, remaining at the record low set in October 2022. The U.S. unemployment rate was also unchanged over the month, remaining at 3.7 percent. The commonwealth’s unemployment rate was 1.5 percentage points below its November 2021 level and the national rate was down 0.5 percentage points over the year.
