Spring Cove Elementary's new book vending machine was made possible through a grant from the Dragon Pride Foundation. Kindergarten teachers Casey Zimmerman and Glenda Everetts and Reading Specialist Susan Zangrilli wrote this grant and organized the assembly where the vending machine was shown to the students. Kindergarten teachers Casey Zimmerman and Glenda Everetts and Reading Specialist Susan Zangrilli wrote a grant that the Dragon Pride Foundation approved for a book vending machine. Students will be able to earn special coins to get a book out of the machine.
The school had an assembly on Friday, Jan. 27, to reveal the surprise, which had been teased with multiple clues leading up to the assembly.
