The 1965 Williamsburg High School boys’ basketball team was made of an incredible cast of players. Not only did the team feature a trio of high-scoring guards; it also had a group of four tall inside players who helped the Pirates dominate nearly every game they played. During the regular season the team was challenged only once in a three-point 72-69 victory at Juniata Valley. Normally, the team won by 20 points or more.
